Hey, I'm Samuel Parks.

I’m a student at Carnegie Mellon studying human-computer interaction and business, and a concentation in AI.

But really, I just like building things. I don't really care what it is, per se. I just love the process of creating something, seeing it come to life, and watching the value it creates.

My whole journey started with a dream of making a skateboard product. That led me to a manufacturer, and while I waited for that to get going, I started doing social media for them. It ended up being pretty successful. we hit around 10 million views.

The manufacturing thing didn't work out, though. And being at CMU, surrounded by tech, I decided I wanted to work for a YC company. I started doing freelance content marketing for a startup called Unriddle (they're Anara now). After about a month, I realized it just wasn't for me. I didn't actually like contributing to short-form videos.

I wanted to get closer to the tech, to the AI side of things.

So, I joined the founding product and growth team for another startup, ValueMate. When they got into YC, I went along for the ride. I got to watch them go through the whole thing, and I was just really inspired by their story.

After that, I came back to school, met my current co-founder, Rohan, at an entrepreneurship event, and now we're starting RapidEye.

And yeah, I'm just super excited for this new chapter.
